On 25 March 2024, clashes renewed between the Sudanese Armed Forces (SAF) and Rapid Support Forces (RSF) in Al Fasher Town of Al Fasher locality, Eid El Nabak village of Kebkabiya locality, and Kutum Town of Kutum Locality, North Darfur. SAF conducted airstrikes targeting RSF positions across the three localities. As a result of the violence, nine individuals were reportedly killed, and 13 others were injured. Field teams reported that approximately 40 households were displaced from eastern neighborhoods of Al Fasher Town. Affected households sought refuge in southern locations within Al Fasher Town. No displacement was reported from Kebkabiya and Kutum localities. The situation remains tense and unpredictable. DTM will continue to monitor the developments closely and will provide further information on displacement and population mobility across Sudan, on a weekly basis.
